the french label VEJA, founded in 2005, produces beautiful urban unisex sneakers in brazil from vegetable tanned leather, organic cotton, recycled PET and natural rubber. the leather used comes from the traditional breeding area in southern brazil and not from the amazon region. the rain forest is protected through the use of wild rubber and the fair payment of the farmers.
